My name is Nick Rizzo, I am a 21-year-old from Audubon, New Jersey. Ever since I began my collegiate career at Rowan in 2021, I wasted no time getting involved with extra-curricular activities around campus. Scroll below to check out some of my work!
I first got involved with Rowan Television Network in my sophomore year, taking on an anchoring role for the network's main sports show: All Access. This semester, I participated in a class named "TV Newscast" which gave me a real-world idea of what it's like to work in a television newsroom on a daily basis. Here are some of my anchoring highlights from TV Newscast!
Following Rowan Football games throughout the 2024 season, first-year head coach Pat Ruley was kind enough to grant me an interview following every game to produce multimedia content for The Whit, Rowan University's main newspaper publication. Here is some of my standup work following games from the Profs' fantastic year!
The Whit was the first extra-curricular club I joined on campus, and the one I've made the most strides in. I formerly worked as a beat writer for the men's swimming, football, and baseball teams, and was then promoted to Co-Sports Editor ahead of my junior year, a position I served for two years. In addition, I've been a beat reporter for the Delaware Blue Coats and Wilmington Blue Rocks for three full seasons, gaining a substantial amount of real-world experience in the process.
